The Stûv 16-fireplace suite allows the Stûv 16 to be fitted into a 370mm deep chimney breast.
The front of the appliance is brought further out into the room, due to the extra depth provided by the fireplace surround.
This opens the possibility to fit this 456mm deep stove into a shallower chimney breast (minimum 370mm deep), subject to a suitable opening size and an appropriate flue with a minimum diameter of 180mm.
It is also possible to draw the combustion air from outside, making these appliances suitable for modern airtight and low energy homes.
