Pilasters

A pilaster is a column which projects only slightly from the wall, and is designed to give the impression of a supporting element. It has a base, a shaft, and a capital.

Pilasters are commonly manufactured from dimensional stones such as Ancaster Hard White, Portland and Bath stone.

We hold stocks of these materials in block form, and can create all forms of bespoke architectural masonry to your precise requirements in our Cambridge workshops.

A comprehensive fixing service is available, or we can work to your specification on a supply only basis.

As regular clients of Ivett & Reed since 2007, we have never received anything other than a truly professional service.
