For his contemporary collection for Chesneys, leading New York designer Eric Cohler was inspired by the industrial revolution of the 19th century. Natural and manufactured materials are fused in a series of spectacular designs, that combine classical and contemporary elements and bear the hallmark of clean, crisp contemporary design.
The Ealing (from £8,147* inc VAT) combines marble and patinated steel. Initially commissioned on a bespoke basis, it now forms part of Eric’s Designer Collection for Chesneys.
The Glasgow (from £8,567* inc VAT) combines Azul Valverde stone with patinated and polished steel elements, bearing a strong similarity to the work of the visionary architect Sir John Soane.
The Griffin (from £8,677* inc VAT) is fabricated in Petit Granit limestone with strong fossil markings and decorated with patinated steel mouldings.
The Pittsburgh (from £9,367* inc VAT) has a deliberately industrial look combining a simple limestone frame with riveted brushed steel panels.
