San Francisco design icon Suzanne Tucker’s collaboration with Chesneys stems from a shared appreciation of fine craftsmanship and sophisticated design.
Following her extensive and regular travels throughout Italy, France and England, Suzanne has taken inspiration from the decorative arts and ornamental vernacular in each of these countries.
The Antibes (from £10,497* inc VAT) is inspired by the joie de vivre of the French Regency style – at once romantic and restrained. Classically proportioned and elegantly detailed, the chimneypiece is fabricated in Azul Valverde limestone, a dense material that lends itself to the finely carved detail that it displays.
The Bellagio (from £25,047* inc VAT) represents a celebration of the Italian decorative arts. Its exuberant design which incorporates beautifully executed carving in Statuary Marble across the frieze and free standing columns decorated with trailing vines will make the Bellagio a statement piece within any room.
The Randolph (from £14,857* inc VAT) is an imposing hand carved limestone chimneypiece with an acanthus leaf carving centered on a dramatic gadrooned frieze.
The Voltaire (from £8,883* inc VAT) is carved in Limestone, inspired by a transitional period in the early 18th century when a reaction against the formality of the Louis IV period saw decoration and furniture become increasingly light and curvaceous.
