Metamorphic Collection
Limestone takes millions of years to form and millions more to metamorphose into marble, the most highly prized medium for architectural features and sculpture for millennia.
The marbles used in Chesneys Metamorphic collection are from Spain, Italy, Turkey and Greece. They include the violet hues of Anatolian Lilac, the monochromatic palette of Nero Marquina, the soft grey and white translucence of Macedonian Volakas and the vibrant and random striations of Italian Arabescato.
Each individual block of marble removed from the earth is different. Its colour and veining will never be exactly replicated. Any object that is crafted from this oldest of natural materials will be completely unique.
We supply and install the complete range of Chesneys fireplaces, including their surrounds, register grates, wood & multi-fuel stoves, gas stoves and electric fire baskets.
