The Milo is a fire surround of substantial proportions that features an elegant bolection moulded frame elevated above canted block feet. Shown here in Lilac marble from Antalya in Turkey.
Lilac is a calcite marble with a translucent white base that is the background to strong and randomly distributed veining moving in colour between violet, lilac and black. Lilac marble is quarried in the Mugla region of South West Turkey bordering the Aegean Sea.
