Ivett and Reed is a family-run stonemasonry business located just outside the centre of Cambridge. Established since 1896, we specialise in creating bespoke stone products - from skilfully carved fireplaces to beautiful granite kitchen worktops. In fact our reputation for providing high-end memorial and architectural masonry is second to none in the region.
Due to continued success, we are keen to recruit an experienced Fireplace Fitter to join our dedicated team. In order to do the job well, you should possess solid experience in fitting a wide variety of fireplaces as well as being able to plaster, lay bricks and work at height, mainly on roofs. You should be fit and healthy with the ability to give good attention to detail to produce quality work on every project undertaken.

Working Monday to Friday, 8.15 am - 4.30 pm, this is a full time position where you can enjoy a career within a friendly environment.
To be considered, you will need:
• Experience in a building trade essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• To work to a high degree of workmanship
• To communicate effectively with clients on site
• To be presentable in your appearance
• Flexible and reliable with a mature attitude to work.
We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work and produces work to the highest standard. Whilst we are ideally looking for someone with previous experience, full training may be provided if you possess all of the above skills. You will also be involved in other aspects of the business as and when needed.
