The illusion of an even thicker work surface can be achieved by using a Built-Up Mitred Edge.
To create this edge profile, the vertical surface is joined to the main surface using mitred joints, meaning 20mm or 30mm thick material can be fabricated to appear 50mm, 75mm or thicker.
